Privacy
The short version: the numbers you type into a calculator on this site never leave your browser. There is no account to create, no dataset upload that gets stored anywhere, and no server-side record of what you calculated.
What never happens with your data
- Values you type, paste, or upload are processed entirely client-side, in your browser, using JavaScript that runs locally. They are not sent to a server to produce a result.
- Pasted datasets, column labels, and calculation results are never sent to analytics.
- There is no user account system, so there is nothing tied to your identity to store in the first place.
- A "load example data" feature, where it exists, only ever loads a fixed, built-in example. It never reads or transmits anything from your device.
What analytics does collect
Once this site has an analytics stream configured, it will record coarse, non-identifying product usage, such as which engine was used or whether a result was copied, never the values involved in a calculation. Analytics cookies are only set where legally permitted; in jurisdictions where a consent banner would otherwise be required, no analytics cookie is set at all and no banner is shown, since there is nothing to consent to. Advertising cookies and advertising signals are never enabled, in any jurisdiction. Global Privacy Control, where a visitor's browser sends it, is honored.
Local storage
Where a feature benefits from remembering something between visits (such as a previously used input), that information is kept only in your own browser's local storage, never transmitted anywhere, and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Hosting
This site is served as a static site through a content delivery network. That provider's infrastructure may log basic request metadata (such as IP address and requested URL) for security and operational purposes, the same way essentially any web host does. This is separate from, and unrelated to, the analytics behavior described above.
